for a breath of ecstasy, give all you have been, or could be

Perhaps the greatest and most valuable accomplishment that one could ever achieve in life is pure, unrestrained beauty: the kind that is simple and complex, brings happiness along side sorrow, possesses innocence yet strength--beauty in its immense entirety. Our unbounded world is bursting with this phenomenon; there are beautiful moments, beautiful experiences, beautiful things and beautiful people living beautiful lives with beautiful souls.

"For a breath of ecstasy" is inspired from the last two lines of "Barter," a poem by Sara Teasdale. It serves as a reminder that we need to dictate our lives and hold ourselves accountable for exploring passion, obtaining knoweldge, loving others, and discovering happiness. Only by accepting this duty can we truly be at peace with ourselves, and find authority and purpose.

My purpose is to live life as beautifully as I can--because when I do, I discover more about myself, encounter happiness, and ultimately leverage this experience called 'life' to do something good in the world. To me, that is ecstasy. And for that, I will give all that I have been, or could be.
